Gajjar YA Daal ka halwa

And here is a community of all community "Gajar ka halwa" well obviously i joined it with lot of expectations..but voila!! ... here i see A poll of all the polls (sorry MTNL AND BSES) GAJJAR KA HALWA OR DAAL KA HALWA.. Well its same like YOU love you mom or dad most? (danda kaha se bhi aaye aayega na!! with final answer???)

well I selected to be little "honest " this time .. and choose "Daal ka halwa" Ummmm my favorite with ice cream

But yehh kiya???!!..... What a back fire by a bunch of "jealous people" (who really never developed their taste buds in a manner to taste the things for tasting but merely eating)
so fellows i was attacked by them in my Gmail MAIL ACCOUNT ,on the contrary this was the safest attack cos "agar ORKUT scrap book mai aataa to Band bajj jata"  Ghar wale kehtey -  "TURN TURN TURN" or rather summoned me to remove my self from such Delicious community...

so "yaaron yeh to safe hee raha NA??"

The mail was full of hater towards all the other halwas and full of admiration for gaajar

well the secret is i love carrots too but that's the another story!!.. here the community expected me to be loyal to only gajjar ....

Very well my apology !! (accepting is merely depend on Gajjar only)
but still i insist all u jealous people before calling me "Até Tu, Brutus? "
Please try very Hot Daal ka halwa mixed with a generous dollop of Ice Cream (preferably plain vanilla)

Well the best place to try it is in some shaadi /party (psst there u can taste it for free/try it for free..and if u have to throw (bad manners) that's also freeeee..)

Well next time i demand to receive all the hater mails and the fires from all you dragons only in my mails (that's the safest)

Thank you for reading such bakwas I really cant imagine how people ARE still reading "That whats coming next?" CHEETER GEEPERS CHEETERRR!! In this bakwas blog now.

Pathetic ..

One can meet God in the crowd or any other place

Last year I was feeling very low and depressed for just something unknown. It was a feeling of living a caged life without being able to do and contribute what all we desire and would like to. And then I decided to go to Jaipur / Ajmer / Rajasthan with my brother  for a break.
One fine day we planned to visit a temple which is quite well known in the state of Rajasthan. It was near Udaipur and the place is called Nathdwara. The temple is known to worship a form of Lord Krishna and attracts millions of the devotees especially from the state of Gujarat and other places.
I was unable to decide on my itinerary – should it include a visit to this temple? I was not very inclined to do service to God and being a new comer to such place didn’t particularly help the cause. So I thought to buy some flowers for the deity as a small service on my part.

Since there are a multiple choices of venders it is difficult to choose any one particular flower seller. But somehow I caught the voice of this old and poor man who was trying to sell his flowers at very attractive rates as they were the last lot left with him.
The flowers very really fresh and on its full bloom , I tried to look at them closely but couldn’t find any faults so decided to buy the flower and paid him as per the rates.
While returning I just went to him again and started talking to get some first hand information. I enquirer about the local area, the temple and about his flower and where he got them from etc. to find his basic interest most in it which he described with great enthusiasm. And so I also asked whether it will be possible for him to take me to his farm where he got these flowers. Surprisingly his answer was in the positive. We
then decided to meet the very next day at 11 a.m. by which time he would have finished selling his stock of flowers. At the pre-appointed time I was there. After taking a 10-minute rickshaw ride we were outside the town. He then started moving through the open fields and asked me to follow him quietly. In between he used to stop at small temples where he prayed. He appeared somewhat different to me. He distributed "Prasad" to the children and the poor we met on the way. He then stopped to feed the little ants on the ground.

He was walking briskly and I had to move fast to catch up with him. He then did something which amazed me. He started telling things which I used to think and ponder over. It was amazing to hear those things from a poor farmer in a remote place.
On the way back I could not resist to see the place where he fed the hungry ants. And there was lying this peacock feather which is considered as the sign of Krishna. It was not there earlier, and neither was there any peacock in the vicinity. I took the feather as a kind divine gesture.
I came back to my small hotel room to think over all the incidents and then I realized it was the lord who met me through this man to make me realize certain things. I am grateful to him for sharing a few hours with me and telling me things which were close to my heart.
I knew for certain that one can meet God in the crowd or any other place. These are his ways. One just needs to pick the clues and follow him with all faith.
The next day I went again to the temple to see the man. He was still there but the enthusiasm was missing. He was his normal self but didn’t display any emotions towards me. I felt a little embarrassed.

Navroz Mubarak

Although the Parsis of India originally emigrated from Persia, they no longer have social or familial ties to Persians, and do not share language or recent history with them. Over the centuries since the first Zoroastrians arrived in India, the Parsis have integrated themselves into Indian society while simultaneously maintaining their own distinct customs and traditions. This in turn has given the Parsi community a rather peculiar standing - they are Indians in terms of national affiliation, language and history. Some of their festivities are given below:

Khordad Sal
Khordad Sal - Rituals of Jashan, or thanksgiving prayersThe birth anniversary of Zoroaster or Prophet Spitaman Zarathushtra is celebrated as Khordad Sal in August-September. It falls sometime on the sixth day of the Parsi month of Farvardin. In some old Parsi texts, this day is also spoken of as the Navroz-I-Khas, which means `Special New Year`s Day`. Even the real New Year`s Day is referred to as Navroz-I-Am, meaning `Common New Year`s Day`.

The religious lore and texts of the Parsis mention the festival and its importance. In the olden days, the king and nobility, especially, observed Khordad Sal as Navroz-I-Khas. It is said to be the day on which many historic events of old Iran are said to have happened. Later, it came to be observed solely as Zarathushtra`s birthday. Zoroaster or zarathusthra was the founder of the religion. The exact year of Zarathushtra`s birth is not known, but it is accepted that he was born in the beginning of the first millennium BC. Similarly, the day of his birth is also not known precisely.

On this day, Parsis wear new clothes; the house is cleaned and decorated with rangolis. Parsis arrange fragrant flowers prepare delicious meals. The rituals of Jashan, or thanksgiving prayers are offered at the temples. A grand feast is prepared to mark the occasion.

MY VALANTINE SPECIAL

My valentine special

LOVE SONGS WE LOVE TO HATE

1. SONG: “MY HEART WILL GO ON “

ARTIST: CELINE DION

Why, oh why didn’t someone push this shrieking banshee off the sinking ship before she opened her mouth and cranked up this torturous number? ‘My heart will go on….’ What does that even mean? Does her heart want to burst out of her chest and go forth and scream hysterically as it runs far away from her voice? I think so.

2. SONG “ILU ILU “

MOVIE: “SAUDAGAR”

It’s the only song that makes “I Love you” sounds so offensive and downright obscene. And we’re guessing the song writers knew that. Why else would they keep stressing, “ILU ka matlab I Love You, I Love you”, get it? Now get your mind out of the gutter.

3. SONG: “LOVE ME FOR A RESON”
ARTIST: ‘BOYZONE’

Okay, you stupid boy band... who wrote this? Huh? Was it written on a napkin? In crayons? By a FOUR-YEAR-OLD? “Love me for a reason; let the reason be love…” It’s ironical that the line has the word ‘reason’ mentioned in it twice… yet the concept is completely lost.

4. SONG: “HOW AM I SAPPOSED TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU”
ARTIST: ‘MICHAEL BOLTON’

For a while this crooner distracted us with the dead cat that was sprawled across his head. But after he cut his hair, we realized just how much his music sucks. As far as this song goes, good God, pull yourself together. Get a backbone… some song-writing skill would be nice too.

5. SONG: “EVERYTHING I DO “
ARTIST: ‘BRYAN ADAMS’

This is mother of all bad songs. This syrupy, anal song was an enormous hit and made women everywhere swoon. But doesn’t anyone get what Bryan is trying to say? When he picks his nose, When he leaves the toilet seat up and even when he’s umm….. He is doing it all for you (He did say everything)

6. SONG “HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME”
ARTIST: BRITNEY SPEARS

We’ll gladly hit this chickie one more time… or may be a dozen odd times, preferably with a large wooden club and BAAM… knock her out cold. For all you know, it’s probably singing this terrible song over and over again that permanently twisted the poor kid’s mind. (Me)

7. SONG: “AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE”
ARTIST: ‘HIMESH RESHAMMIYA’

Loosely translated it means, ‘You made me a lover’. And we suppose Mr. Nasal Twang singing the same line over and over again (until the listener has lost the will to live) is the painful price you pay for love?

8. SONG ‘I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU’
ARTIST: ‘STEVIE WONDER’

Good grief, this one reeks of so much sugary content; you’re likely to get a toothache at the end of three minutes. Stevie baby, hang up… hang up now, else we’ll put that telephone wire to good use… as noose.

9. SONG: ‘RIGHT HERE WAITING’
ARTIST: ‘RICHERD MARX’

“Whatever you do wherever you go… I will b right here waiting for you.” What is this? The anthem of the loosers’ convention? Exactly how do you expect to woo her if all you’re going to do is whine incessantly in one place? Honey, she’s not coming back… trust us on this ONE.

10. SONG: ‘NOTHING GONNA CHANGE MY LOVE FOR YOU’
ARTIST: ‘GLENN MEDEIROS’
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…. Stop … please stop… here take all our money and our watches too…just STOP THAT NOW!

I JUST CALLED TO SAY YOU SUCK

Play this on ‘his’ voicemail after he dumps you

THE CORRS—‘I never loved you anyways’ Take that, you no-good, miserable, lying, cheating scum ^%$#@!

NO DUBT—‘Don’t speak’
Ah… the angst... The agony...The … hey, will you just shuddup…I’m playing a song here.

RIHANNA – ‘Umbrella’ Not exactly a love song, but play the part that goes ‘Ella… ella…ella…eh… eh…’ in a loop and he’ll be begging for death….. Muhahahahaha.

ALANIS MORRISSETTE---- ‘ You oughta know’ That I’m about to burn your house down and squirt your car with chicken blood. Grrrrrrrrrr…..

THE GOOD STUFF
Now all you need is someone worth dedicating these to ….. Aaaawwwww!! :”>:”>:”>

U2 ---- ‘WITH OR WITHOUT YOU’

ROBBIE WILLIAMS AND NICOLE KIDMAN
--- ‘SOMETHING STUPID’

ALANIS MORRISSETTE—
‘HEAD OVER FEET’

SEAL---- ‘KISS BY A ROSE’

A R REHMAN --- ‘DIL SE’

So, what’s your favorite Fib?

So, what’s your favorite Fib?

They say that anyone who claims he always tells the truth is a liar. And a survey seems to have confirmed that, with those interviewed admitting an average four fibs a day – five by men and three by women.

“Nothing’s wrong- I am fine “, is the most frequent, with 28% of respondents saying it was their favorite untruth. Next comes “ Nice to c u “ , followed by “ I haven’t got any cash on me” , “ I’ll give u a ring” , “ Sorry , I missed your call” , “ we have to meet up soon” and “ I am on my way” .

It’s lucky our nose don’t grow like Pinocchio’s when we lie. A recent survey has confirmed that we tell on average four lies a day. The rest of the top 20 are : “ I am stuck in traffic “ , “ what text?” , “ I had no signal” , “ of course I love you” , “ our server was down” , “ my alarm dint go off” ,” the cheque is in the post” , “ my battery died” , “ the train was delayed” ,” I’ll phone you back in a minute “ , “this taste delicious” and “ I am going to the gym to-night” .

Four lies a day adds up to 1,460 every year or almost 88, 000 in the average 60 years of adult life span.

Most lies are to work colleagues, followed by parents and then partners.
The survey was carried out for the drinks brand WKD , Whose spokesman said : “ fortunately most of the fibs were unearthed are only white lies and nothing too serious . “ although we have reveled the most people tell quite regularly , they are more often then not told to spare people’s feelings rather then to cause upset. “But its men who tell the most fibs, coming out with five everyday with compared with women who lie just three times. “

Two – thirds of those polled said they do not feel guilty when they tell little white lies and four out of ten reckon they are good at lying .
One in five males interviewed said he would lie to his girlfriend so he could go to the pub or watch sport.
Almost a quarter of men have told a partner that she looks good in an outfit , despite thinking the opposite , and 29 % have lied about flirting with another woman. But females are not completely innocent , with 44% admitting to having to lied about how much new cloths really cost them and 30% about how much they have had to work hard in a day.

RULES FOR THE VIRTUAL PLAYGROUND

RULES FOR THE VIRTUAL PLAYGROUND

MOUSE OR MONSTER: The Internet is the tool that has become almost indispensable.
But how does one safe guard children from its danger? Shaheena Reports...

12 year old Mehak told her mother Priti, executive vice president, of a big communication co., New Delhi, that she has been ‘tagged’ and was part of a group on the Internet.
That would chat regularly, swap information and photographs.
Even though telecom is her business, Priti needed an explanation of what a ‘tag’ email was, so that she cud educate her daughter to not b a part of the chain.
11 year old Mumbai based Anand * wasn’t fazed when his efforts to download extremely ‘streamy’ pictures of Paris Hilton from the internet failed b’cos of the firewall Install by his dad Summit*.He got a video from the schoolmate and downloaded it on to his computer. He knew about sex and Paris Hilton***
THE BIG BAD WEB:
This is the virtual world that offers up the most unwelcome unseen dangers to children.
Studies have shown that they are targeted by pedophiles, stalkers and strangers in chat rooms, are exposed to spam, porn and other Inappropriate material, and also tricked into downloading viruses and spy where over the Internet.
A nationwide survey in the U.S. Showed that 6 out of 10 on line teens had received an email instant message from perfect stranger, and unfortunately, 63% of them had responded. Worst, one in five young people had reported receiving and online sexual solicitation or approach shockingly, one out of three kids in the U.S. and one out of seven in the U.K. had fallen victim.
While there have been no surveys in India, cyber crime is increasing with the 38.6% rise in 2005 as compared to the previous year, according to the national crime records bureau (NCRB) reports.

COMMUNICATE CONNECT AND EDUCATE
Since one can not outlaw the Internet- research material on disappearing polar bears the Onam festival or the lyrics of ‘Santa comes to town’ began available at the click of the mouse – how do u ensure online safety for your child?

Disconnecting the internet connection is not the answer, says doctor Ekta soni, senior clinical psychologist U don’t have to b so punitive and place Ur child out of reach of her pear group u have to allow her some freedom but defiantly with monitoring, time limits and certain rules and regulations.
The best way is to communicate with ur child and develop a healthy relationship with her.
U can not take extreme steps bcos that would only mean the child would access the Internet at a cyber café or somewhere else. There has to b a balance, a communication pattern developed to help guide children through the rights or wrong of Internet using.

Explain about unauthorized sites, chat room rules where they should only talk to friends they know very well.

The internet after all, has educative benefits.
What u has to do is to establish a negotiable board with firm line drawn on Internet usage including timing.
If required, get some sites barred to reduce distraction for kids”, doctor soni.”

Communicating with once child is vital; agree internet experts and social workers.

And that exactly what the parents of the children who had had a bad experience did.
“all the ‘net nannies’ in the world wont make a difference if u don’t take your child into confidence,” says Madhvi, who told her daughter of the dangers online without exaggerating or over protecting her.

Summit did not immediately play the high handed father.
In a long chat with his son, he “managed to convince him that Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are uncool. Why not listen to hard rock instead?
Internet tools can b installed”, he concedes, “but they can also be circumvented.
Explaining to him in a sensible manner has been more effective.”
Priti says she tries to find out casually what her daughter Mahak does on the net, who her email friends are and the dangers of a ‘tagged’ group. Schools should educate kids in the absence of regulations, she feels.11 year old Sonya was once chatting on the internet when someone unknown came online she replied and told her parents about it. It was a good opportunity for her mother Renuka, who runes windows – art and craft corner, Delhi, to explain to her the dos and don’ts on internet usage.” We have told her we place our trust in her and she hasn’t let us down” Renuka says. She and her husband has also installed the necessary protective software and regularly checked the history of where their daughter has been on the net.But what has really worked is, " keeping communication open;today she uses the Internet only for school projects".

IN THE VIRTUAL PLAYGROUND

Just as real life has its strengers and stalkers who should be avoided vertual reality too needs too have the same rules, pointsout textile artist Anrag his son Varun, 13, and daugter Maya, 12 are allowed an hour each on the computer;most of it is supervised since the computer is in the master bedroom. "We talk at dinner time. We discuss things at their level and explain why something can and cannot be done." Anurag says.

Another friend of mine Rena, who is about to get an internet connection at home says she had educated her 13 year old son of its danger.” how long can u play policeman? he knows not to chat with strangers or access sites that are not school projects – related. And he tells us everything.”

Once one communicates and control sensibly, the internet need not be a bogey to b feared.

> No alcohol. Virtually no carbohydrates. Long walk in the evening. > How long do you guys generally exercise for? > I guess a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Don't compare yourself to others. We all are different ages and weigh different amounts and have different histories when it comes to exercising. Pick something you like to do and do it! Don't think of yourself as making yourself exercise---think of it as something you really like to do. Just because I swim a mile doesn't mean your efforts are worthless. They're not! It's a start and you will get better and do more as you become more physically fit. Compare yourself only to yourself. One thing I find that helps is to get a large calendar and write on it what I do everyday. Hah! Just the act of writing down my exercise makes me feel as if I have accomplished something! It's a tangible way to see my progress.
Walking is great exercise and you'll sleep better at night, too.
